Our darkest brown nylon doll hair, just slightly warmer than our Bittersweet brunette. All our custom doll hair is 38" long and perfect for high quality nylon doll hair for rerooting, rehairing and doll restoration.
This high quality nylon doll hair (termed "low heat" or "standard heat" by other companies) is made specifically for dolls and tends to separate easily into smaller plugs to make rerooting easier. It comes straight from the manufacturer that supplies Hasbro, MGA, and many of the world's leading toy companies! It's the same doll hair used in Rainbow High dolls and the original 1980's My Little Ponies. Nylon fiber is ultra soft and silky with a beautiful shine. It's supple and holds curls very well. Perfect for rerooting your next custom doll or My Little Pony!

Shimmer Locks has access to a complete G1 My Little Pony line from North America and the United Kingdom. Rich Truffle does not match any G1 My Little Pony that we are aware of.
Shimmerlocks always has quality hair but the color of this shade varies wildly, even in pictures online. Sometimes it is dark, off-black, sometimes it is lighter, similar to the shade Bittersweet. I ordered both, and Rich Truffle was the EXACTLY the same color as Bittersweet. I thought they sent me the wrong color at first. I understand colors won’t look exactly like the pictures but if it matches an entirely different shade that is a problem. I will always remain loyal to this brand but what is the point in having two shades of different names if they come out exactly the same?

You’re right that these are similar. Bittersweet was meant to read much differently than Rich Truffle, and what we received is closer than we expected. We note that in the descriptions: very similar, just slightly warmer or cooler. The shift is subtle, and different lighting can minimize it or make a shade look lighter or darker than it is.
We’re sorry this one was disappointing after you ordered both. We appreciate you being honest about it.
So soft, so silky, premium hair. I never have enough of it. I use it as a black when I’m aiming for realism.
