Shimmer Locks Curly Nylon Doll Hair provides beautiful, highly defined, bouncy curls. Other brands wind their curly hair tightly on mechanical spinners, which stretches out the fiber. We package our curly hair in small, un-stretched 0.5oz bundles instead. Because our curls keep their natural bounce, our 5mm size is closer in volume to another supplier's 3mm size.

Working with Single Strands

Working with a single continuous strand is slightly different than using pre-cut hair, but it is actually quicker and easier once you get the hang of it. The pre-measured strands are easier to grab and give you total flexibility to create custom lengths.

Note: To keep the hair easy to manage, cut a "start" and follow that strand until it begins to disappear into the main pile. Then, cut a new strand nearer to the outside of the pile and repeat the process.

Premium Nylon Fiber

Every size from the largest ringlets to the tightest curls is 100% high-grade nylon. We do not use or substitute cheaper polypropylene for nylon. This ensures your custom doll gets the premium shine, softness, and durability that only comes from true nylon fiber.
